It is my pleasure as Principal of Lakes Grammar – An Anglican School to invite you to find out more about us as a school. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions we make as parents and information shared throughout these pages will provide you with a glimpse into what we value as a school.
A school not only provides a strong education for your child but creates social communities, fosters and enhances their individual interests and talents and provides consistent, caring adult guidance. Education should build the foundations for a full and enriching life. It needs to prepare young people for a complex, information-rich, globalised world.
Our school sets high academic and behavioural standards for our students within the context of Christian care for their wellbeing and their growth as individuals. All are welcome, regardless of religious backgrounds.
We are unique in that we are young and still growing and highly fortunate to be surrounded by open spaces and modern facilities. We have been able to build our school from a masterplan that will reach fruition within the next ten years.
We work in partnership with parents with open communication between school and home crucial. School can be a richly rewarding experience when staff and parents work together for the good of the children in our care.
I thank you for taking time to learn more about Lakes Grammar. Once you have explored our website we invite you to visit us and take a walk around, either as part of a scheduled school tour held once per term, or as in individual tour at a time that best suits you. In the meantime if you have any questions, please contact our Registrar, Racquel Jolly who can answer all your questions about enrolling your child at Lakes Grammar.
