Our Learning Support team are very adept at identifying students who may need some extra support with their learning. This may be due to literacy or numeracy deficits, learning disabilities, prolonged illness or injury or difficult family circumstances. A number of programs to support our students are employed to the benefit of our students.
Communication between parents, the student and their teachers is vital and is prioritised in order for the student to be able to access and develop their learning.
We also provide a quiet space out of the playground for students who need respite. Our Year 6 and Year 7 Transition program provides additional support for students who need the extra help to adjust to high school.
